Terran Walstad

Advocacy Lead

After working briefly as a dental hygienist in private practice, Terran decided to change course and begin their career in public health. They worked with the Maricopa County fluoride varnish program and enrolled in grad school to receive their Masters in Public Health, which led them to join the AZOHC as an intern in 2019, and has stayed on with the AZOHC ever since. While Terran’s current day job is not focused on oral health or advocacy, they strive to improve the oral health of the community through the AZOHC. In the unlikely event of free time outside of the coalition, work, and school, Terran enjoys crafts, baking, reading, and spoiling their cats.
